Field Trips

Interactive! Hands-On! Educational!

Children’s Imaginarium features five main galleries promoting playful learning through innovative and engaging exhibits. With a focus on STEM Learning, Children’s Imaginarium is a valuable local resource for schools.

Field Trip details can be found HERE. If you are interested in scheduling a field trip at the Children’s Imaginarium, please fill out this online submission form.

Do you need financial assistance to help offset the costs of admission or transportation for a field trip to the Children’s Imaginarium? If so, please complete our online submission form for all inquiries. While we deeply value your request and partnership, please understand that, as a new non-profit, we receive numerous assistance requests from many deserving organizations. Although we strive to support as many requests as possible, we may not be able to accommodate all of them. Funding requests will be reviewed, and you will receive a response within one week of submission.

First Grade Futures

New! Exclusive Opportunity!

First Grade Futures is a new science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fieldtrip program that ensures all first-grade students in Marathon County—public, private, parochial, and homeschool—have access to a free, immersive, hands-on STEM learning. By removing the barrier of admission, the program creates equitable access to hands-on, STEM learning at a critical stage in a child’s development.

Educators select one of two DPI standards-aligned field trip experiences, each designed to meet first-grade learning standards and extend classroom instruction into a vibrant, museum-based environment. During their visit, students explore the museum and participate in a dedicated experience focused on the selected STEM concept. Each student leaves with a STEM summary, a take-home STEM kit to continue exploration at home, and a free return-visit voucher, reinforcing learning beyond the field trip. First Grade Futures aims to serve up to 1,400 first-grade students, supporting educational equity, strengthening classroom learning, and laying the groundwork for future success in STEM-related careers in Central Wisconsin.
