What is STEM learning?
STEM is the acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Hands-on exploration through multi-faceted exhibits will build powerful skills kids need in the modern world.
Why is STEM important?
STEM education creates critical thinkers, increases science literacy, and will foster the next generation of innovators. Applying their learning to practical life and preparing them to take on the world’s biggest problems.
Why not STEAM?
The acronym STEAM adds an ‘A’ to include the Arts. The greater Wausau area has a strong and well established Arts community. The Children’s Imaginarium will collaborate, rather than duplicate efforts in the Arts.
Meet Our Board of Directors
The Children’s Imaginarium Directors were chosen for their dynamic skill sets, dedication to our community and genuine interest in creating a place that lays the foundation for life long learning.
